I have a new computer as of the first of December and even though I saved my pictures to a disk for
some reason I am unable to access them :(
I left off with June with Father's Day. That means that there were Birthdays for July - December, a few anniversaries, Halloween and Thanksgiving that I do not have to share.
I hope to be able to keep up to date more this year....we shall see. ENJOY!

I do have some of the November and December birthdays. This one was for a grand-niece whose birthday was in November. I drew, colored in and cut out the individual letters and then attached them with foam tape. The stripe is adhesive backed ribbon.

For some reason I only have 2 of the Thanksgiving cards and here they are. Both drawn and colored in then mounted.

Now for the Christmas cards. I am so glad that I have these as I only made the same type a few times and most are individual. I did make two of this design. I saw this in my paper Crafts magazine ( when they were still actual paper....now digital only....so sad and a BIG gripe for ME!) No actual pattern so I got ruler and paper to make my own. Then I cut from cardstock and then added the individual letters from patterned papers. The embellishment at the top of the "O" was cut from paper , mounted and then adhered.

Drawn and colored in

This one is a bit different. I drew the little reindeer and tree first. I then cut the snow globe from cardstock adhered the deer, etc and then a "globe" of vellum.

A good way to use up TINY scraps! The trees are cut free-hand and the trunks drawn in with pen.

This idea came from a James Avery catalog. This is a charm design. I drew it the size I wanted and then placed it over the cardstock and cut with an exacto knife on the interior and scissors for the outside before layering on paper and cardstock.

These are shaped cards. You can see the scored part on the gold ornament best. They are just 2 shapes layered and scored at top for opening.

Another drawing from a picture I saw in a catalog.

Ornament shapes cut and mounted. detail added with pen.

The other JOY card

one more ornament card

Gifts made like the ornament scored cards above. They open just below the bow

Hand cut pieces for the figures and star. The "stable" is 2 pieces layered with the top piece having the "windows" cut with knife.

I made 4 different snow people. These two are single layer and added to the card.

Another drawing

Another idea from a charm, made the same as the tree one above.

The other 2 snow people. These are actual cards and open at the side.

Drawing for my brother, mark who is a truck driver.

I drew and colored in the "SNOW" with the snow people peaking through. then I cut it out and mounted over the black snow paper.

This one didn't come out as I had planned. You can't really see the wording coming out of the present as well as I would have liked. I needed to use a less busy background I think.

Now on to some December birthdays. This is for my very good friend in TN. SDhe loves roses and I thought these rosebuds would be perfect. They are made by punching holes in the cardstock with a large needle and then "sewing" the buds with ribbon.

I drew the cakes, colored in and cut out. Adhered to paper and cardstock. More of the adhesive backed ribbon for the trim and little "flags" cut from a stripped paper.

Anniversary card for my Dad and step-Mom. First you make 2 heart chains of 4 hearts on patterned paper. Then cut 2 hearts each of 3 other patterns and glue over the chain. Attach one of the chains on the inside with the 1st and last heart being glued into place and leaving the middle two free. This inside chain is accordion folded before gluing on.

Front and back of the card with one of the chains attached. Ribbon is added under the chain to close the card in a bow.

This picture is cut from a bulb catalog and then colored in with my favorite gel pens before layering onto cardstock.

Another pieced cardstock cad

I drew the owl, hat and branch separately and then colored and cut to assemble on the card. The ribbon is added by threading through a punched hole under the branch.

A tri-fold card. The papers are supposed to be 16" across but I don't have any paper larger than 12" so I attached the green to the blue on the back side of the tall side of the blue. The birds and fish are cut with a knife.
