EASTER

For my Mom and brother.

I drew and colored in the rainbow first. The I drew and cut out the clouds. I added some swirl lines with pencil before covering with sparkle dust. Added the lettering and then attached the clouds with foam tape.

For my daughter and 2 oldest grandsons. patchwork squares that are actually sewn onto the brown border before being attached to the card.

One of 3 I made by this pattern. This was for my youngest neice.

For my sister and brother-in-law. The flowers are a pin that can be worn if wanted.

3 by this pattern with different colors and patterens.

The 3rd of the top example given to my son and his family. The boys had begged for the little bunny when thay were here last. They were going through my collection of craft "goodies" to take home with them.

April anniversaries

For my sister and brother-in-law....they celebrated 10 years on the 12th. The letters are drawn, cut and mounted onto the white strips.

I love the black and white paper and have used it quite a bit over the years. I will be sad when it is all used up!

For my son and daughter-in-law who also celebrated 10 years on the 4th!

Of course I drew the trunks and used various buttons for the trees. I added a poem/lyrics from John Lennon about growing love on the inside.

April bdays

I peiced together the background and stitched before drawing in and coloring the sandpiper. It was for my brothre-in-law who celebrated on the 16th.

I drew this off and then cut it out. A little bit tricky but well worth the effort. I then mounted it for contrast before adding to the card. This one was for my daughter-in-law who celebrated her bday yesterday!

For one of my neices who turned 19 on the 9th. Another hand drawn and lettered card with layers and ribbon.

Another neice who celebrated 35 this year. A simple and quick card. The choosing of coordinating papers took the longest.

My grandson's bday card. He turned 8 on the 1st!

The outside looked too plain so I added the lettering around the edges saying....eat cake, blow out the candles, etc

The inside before the strip is pulled showing the burning candles

and after it is pulled showing them blown out

March bdays

I am so behind with posting!!!!! It is more than 1/2 way thru April and I am just now getting March up!

The first one was for my neice. It is hand drawn and colored in with pens. Then mounted and attached to the card.

For my son who turned 36 this year...boy how time flies!!!!
The actual card part is the hamburger all peiced together. The swiss cheese and tomato have more detail involved with 2 colors of paper. All peices are cut and colored then layered. The top of the bun opens up. It is a shaped card that I then attached to the cardstock, postcard stye. The black and white background made it stand out nicely.

This is for the little boy down the street. he turned 3 on the 25th. I haven't given it to him yet because they went on a trip to China where he met his grandparents for the first time. They returned home yesterday so I will deliver it soon.
