Calendar fronts

A new design for the 2012 calendars! I always try to come up with something different and creative that doesn't take too much time. The cover only gets looked at when you receive it and then it gets hung on the wall or where ever. I came up with the idea to use the #1 in 2012 to write in the names of the recipients. This first one is a close up of one of the names formed in the shape of the "1"



This one was one of the toughest! There was a lot of letters to fit into the space...Chris 'n Rosie....I didn't use the last name (Miller) because I made another for my sister, their Mom, and didn't want duplicates.


i am making 12 calendars this year so that means 144 pages!!! On last count I have 83 "done". I say done with quotations because i will still need to go back and add finishing touches like poems, embelishments, etc. The main idea is done. I will get shots of some pages soon and add them here.

August cards

My eldest Grandson celebrated "18" last week. The sun's middle is cut out showing through to the inside of the card.




This card was for my nephew and his new bride. They tied the knot on the 6th. Each heart is cut and decorated before attaching to the card.


My neice will celebrate this weekend. I used a variety of paper and lace scraps for this card. I hand lettered the "Awesome" and cut out before attaching with foam tape

July cards

This one is for a Bridal Shower. I made it using the shower invitation and envelope. The oval on front was cut from the inside of the envelope.
