More calendar pages

Here are more of the calendar pages I did this year. It gets hard to come up with different pages when you have been doing them for several years. I keep a record of who gets what pages so they don't get the same thing two years in a row.
Here is one of the easier, less time consuming pages. They do look nice since I used patterened paper for the background. I use either magazine pictures or card fronts and mount them.

firecrackers....using up scraps!

Hot Dog Month.....part of a recycled card

Birthday Month for this family

Another card front....I love the colors here!

Garfield's birthday....Reader's Digest pages

Luck of the Irish

Collage of many different days and month long "celebrations" . You can find these dates on about.com at the family crafts section.

Richard Scary's Birthday. My Grandkids and Kids love these stories! So do I! Lowly worm and Huckle the Cat!

Pig Day

Christmas cards

I finally got all the cards done and in the mail a few days ago!

This one is just layered matting behind a picture I aquired from a friend that works for a printing co.

The patterened paper for these "helped" with the message on the inside. The star is a metal "jeans stud" that I have had stashed away for a while.

Using up scraps of ribbon and paper. I thought the phraze was cute.

One with shiny papers that I saved from the insides of envelopes or various packaging. The other is made with textured papers. I love to use recycled materials in my cards!

I have had this one marked to make for a couple of years now and it just never "made the cut". I don't know why I waited....turned out cute! I did color the tops of the "baby" buttons as they were a pastel blue.

Some of the first ones I made this year when I had the sewing machine out. The trees are stitched then I added sequins for the ornaments.

These ornaments are cut from various papers and then colored in with glitter pens.

LOVE this one ....the pattern was for a gift bag. Another one that I have looked at for a few years and didn't do. Another cute phrase!

Another gift bag idea turned into a card. The scarf is fabric threaded through slits and tied in a knot.

More trees. The individual peices were stitched around the edges before they are attached.

These ornaments are drawn on and then colored in with glitter and gel pens.

Thanksgiving cards

I know it is a little late but I have been BUSY!!!!! and I didn't want anyone to see thier card here before they got it in the mail.
I have made this one in the past but I really love the scarecrow!

I made a few variations of this Thankful style...here are 2 of them. I got a great paper package with cordinating papers, stickers, cut outs, etc that these are made from. Love the colors!

This one is cut from various saved magazine pictures and then I added a charm and ribbon.

A picture I got from my neighbor who works at a printing co. She brought a roll with several different pictures on it. This one looked perfect for Thanksgiving. all it needed was several layers of matting.
