cards by me

This site will show my card creations and ongoing projects. I created my site to share with friends and family. It will also be a "test" for feedback on the possibility of starting a small business making cards and personalized calendars. Please scroll down or visit the archives to view photos. Easter

I made 4 of the "tag" design this year. One is for my Dad and step-Mom and the other is for my Father-in-law and step-MIL. There are 2 more examples in the post below for the "babies".

My first try at making "shaker boxes"> I have looked at them several times but never had the correct materials to make them. I improvised to make these.

The other "shaker box". These are for grandneices.

Easter Cards

I saw this idea on the Paper Crafts Blog and thought it was adorable. I made these two for the youngest grandsons.

I have made these before a few years back for grandneices. These are made using bunnies that my sister had given me. They are for another set of grandneices.

I made 4 of these "tag" designs. These two are for the youngest recipents....a 10 month old grandneice an a 5 month old neice.

These are for my Mom and one of my sisters...the one that gives me all of the card "goodies". She gave me the flowers I used on these.

These 3 are for the oldest grandsons..."chocolate" eggs

Valentines

This is the outsides of "secret message" valentines

This is the inside of one

The other one

Here are a couple that I made from vintage images I got off the web

Valentines

Cool Cats...two of a kind but different

These match the personalities of the recipents....crooner for my 14 yr old grandson that writes his own songs and plays several string instruments....karate guy for my 11 yr old grandson that recently got his yellow belt in Kempo....and the drum for my 10 yr old future step-grandson who plays the drums

These finger puppet hearts are for the 2 youngest grandsons...17 mos and 3 yrs

Stuffed hearts are made from felt. Peice of felt is placed behind the cut out heart and then stitched 1/2 way around....add stuffing and then finish stitching.
