Halloween Cards

This accordian card was scaled down from the original table centerpeice size. This was a fun card to make. All pieces are cut "freehand".

The mummy on this card was supposed to be a stamp. I didn't have one, so I drew it myself. The inside says "Wrap Music"

October cards

These are for my nephew and brother-in-law. When my grandson, Sebastian saw the black and white one he said that he liked it the best. He also liked his brother's, Tristen also with black and white that I posted as an August birthday. He let me know that he wants his card (birthday in Nov.) to be black and white also.

This is my sister's card. All pieces are cut freehand. I don't use any "pre-packaged" cut outs on my cards. This idea was on an ad in one of my craft magazines.

This one is for my "grand-neice". She will be 4 this year. This is from a book I've had for quite a while. I made another clown for my grandsn, Caleb's 1st birthday 2 years ago and also for some calendar pages last year. The clowns turn out so cute! I love this little pink one!

This one belongs to my neice. She will be 18 this year. Each row of petals is cut out "paper doll" style and then attached with brad to card.

Calendar pages

I cut this tree "freehand" from patterned paper. Then I added ornaments and gifts from catalog pictures. Finished off with sequins.

A "patchwork" stocking

I made 4 pages like this. They were time consuming, but very gratifying. I love the way they turned out. I made several changes to the directions for this "project". One of the best was using tissue paper for the roses rather than regular paper to be misted and curled.

I also made a few like this using different colors

Another October page. The spider web is made from actually using a needle and thread to form the web. I added a spider sticker.

Our new grandson

Announcing: Aidan Jaxson born 9-13-06 weighing in at 7 lbs, 1 oz. and 19 1/2 in.

Aidan's big brother, Caleb helping me feed him.

Calendars, new grandson, October cards

As I posted last the calendars were done other than adding our new grandson to the September pages. Well he was born on the 13th and I added the date to calendars yesterday.
I have also finished up October birthdays (5), an anniversary and Halloween cards.
I am working on my sister's gift...about 1/2 finished. I completed Aidan's stocking yesterday.
Now if I can just get the image upload to work I will be able to post pics of all the above.

Calendar update

The calendars are finished other than adding our new granson's birthday. He is due any day now.
I have been working on October birthdays, etc. I finished 4 birthday cards with one to go, an anniversary card and have started my sister's gift. I have looked for ideas for Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Here are a couple of the October pages.
