My workbench after all the Christmas cards are complete

All the cards are done.....then I had to custom make the envelopes to fit the various sizes and shapes of the cards. I made a total of 28 Christmas cards this year.

These were made for the "kids"...grandkids, great nieces and kids of friends..10 in all. The mice are made of felt and the candy cane tail is slipped underneath and into a "strip" made from the ears being slipped through the body.

My next task will be anniversary card for Dad and Joy for the 26th, then January Birthdays...Luke, Shawn and Michelle's are all on the 14th...Scott on the 29th.
Cuccidatis and Hopscotch will be made next week.

These show the variations you can use on the same "template"....I made trees and snowmen for these...you could use the same idea for many occasions.

Christmas cards

I made several of these with different colors of cardstock...all the shapes were cut free hand...no patterns

The stockings were made from "basket weave" paper that I made first from strips of patterned and solid papers. Then machine stich edges and cut out shape. The hanging loop was attached with a brad.

MORE Christmas Cards

Ornament cards....different and pretty

Poinsettias.....these are made with torn paper pieces rather than cutting.

These I made from an example in one of my books....with some of my own ideas thrown in....the "hand made" paper applied to the back side of the tree cut out was my addition, rather than adding a tree (from the cutout pieces) to the inside.

These were fun to create...the tree is drawn on the cardstock then a second layer of velum/mullberry paper/tissue piece is added where the top star and jewels are attached.

Baby and Birthday

Congratulations for a new little one.... to Melisa and her new one Isa
The lighting wasn't very good for this one and it looks much better "in person"

Happy Birthday to Tommie (mother-in-law)
This was a fun card to make!

September: I did several like this with various shades of apples and backgrounds.

June: "Chill Out"....mmmmmm ice cream....I also used this on some August pages.

July: This is one of many pics, etc. used to carry the Independence Day theme.

January...Milk day and New Year on the top and Rubber Ducky's b.day, Winnie the Pooh day, etc on the calendar page.

March and April

Well I finally got the calendars finished last weekend. Here are the covers. Sort of "generic" this year...last year they had more detail...but when you think about it ...you don't see the cover when it is being used!
Iv'e been trying to get this posted all week but seem to be running into problems when trying to get the pictures posted?!?
