2006
Well it HAS been quite a while since my last post!!!
Christmas was great. We spent Christmas Eve with our daughter, 2 grandsons and some of our daughters friends at her house. Christmas Day we went to one of my sister's house for a small gathering of 5.
The New Year was brought in at home with a bottle of champange and a soak in the hot tub. Many neighbors shot off fireworks that we could enjoy from the hot tub!. The next day we had BBQ and blackeyed peas (of course) with Luke and Tommie (father-in-law and his wife).
I am now in the final stages of the Birthday party that we are hosting for Luke's 75th this Saturday. We are expecting 19-22!
Our painting business has suddenly come back to life as well and we just finished a small job Monday. We settled a contract today and will start it next Monday. It should last a couple of weeks. We have also been approached for 3 more.
In between completion of Christmas cards and now I have made cards for Dad and Joy's anniversary, Luke and Michelle's birthdays, and a Thankyou card for the nurses and staff at Seton that cared for my Uncle Mike during his last hospital stay.
I hope to get back to making more cards etc. soon. I really enjoy it and it is a real "stress buster"!
Valentines Day is approaching as well as my neighbor's birthday (same day). february also has a great neice on the 10th. March will bring Sean and Brandy. April...Easter; Caleb, Courtney, Crystal, James and Maggi's birthdays; 2 anniversarys
